This mother's day a group of exclusive guests were invited to join chopard to commemorate this special day.

Mother's Day, a day where we come together to honour what our mothers have done for us. What better way to celebrate this occasion than to gift the matriarch of the family a set of artisanal jewellery from Chopard? This Mother's Day, guests were invited to Chopard's Ngee Ann City Boutique to view exceptional largesse befitting for the occasion.

Divine Palate was invited to be part of this exclusive event, taking care of the canapés perfectly matched with refreshingly effervescent Champagne, making it an integral part of the celebration. Canapé items encompassed the full spectrum of tastes; ranging from savoury to sweet.

Four savoury items were served. The aromatic thinly threaded Truffle Angel Hair Pasta was paired with Sakura Ebi to provide a distinct crunch to the otherwise springy pasta. Succulent Wagyu Beef Cheek was complemented by the light and fluffy Truffle Mash. The Tuna Tataki with Wasabi Aioli was extremely flavourful that seemed to work so well together.

When it comes to eggs, one of the most frequently asked question would be, "How do you like your eggs?" Well, Divine Palate's method of making eggs would change the way you answer this question forever. 62 degrees Celsius is the precise temperature when the egg yolk and the white are the same consistency. The taste, accentuated by Ponzu & Crispy Wonton Skin, will leave you craving for more.

The sweet items were also able to satisfy the sweet tooth of many. The Baileys Tiramisu offered a "pick me up", very appropriate for the occasion. Alongside the Tiramisu was the Limoncello Tart. Limoncello, a popular digestif, added a touch of sophistication to the citrusy and tangy tart, rounding out the menu very nicely.

Good food along with amazing company and exquisite jewellery certainly left an impression on the guests this Mother's Day.
